Coronavirus Update

Gov. DeSantis confirmed this morning at a press conference that there are two presumptive cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the state of Florida. One is in Hillsborough County and the other in Manatee County. Both cases have been referred to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for confirmatory testing and the individuals been placed in isolation.

The risk to the general population remains low.

Our county team continues to support the DOH-Pinellas as the local lead agency and we will be sending an update to all employees via email today.

Our team is looking at travel guidance, as well as planning for any other potential impacts to our organization.
